Slob Out And Enjoy
It may sound a little dubious, but it promises to be nothing but fun
Dubai Lime, Dubai’s cultural and entertainment portal and promoter of original music, has partnered up with Time Out Dubai to bring the first ever Slob Festival - so called to encourage people to wear laid-back, casual clothes.
Taking place at Malecon at the Dubai Marine on Friday, November 7, the Slob Festival will be a home-grown event, featuring three musical performances by Dubai residents Holly Major, Tim Hassall and Paul Nolan. There’ll be a drumming session by Dubai Drums, and a DJ taking to the decks to end the night.
All the money raised at the Slob Festival will benefit two charity organisations - Gulf for Good and the Dubai Women’s Association.
Check out the Slob Festival on November 7 at Malecon. Doors open at 8pm and the fun doesn’t stop until 3am. Limited tickets are available and will be given on a first come first served basis.
Tickets are priced at dhs70, and can be purchased at the venue on the night.
