Lucky Stars

Rachel, eight, Kristen, ten years, and Ryan six years are known by the kids at The Dhaka Project and many of who have been involved in this charity as ''The Lucky Stars".
They began helping the poor by giving their unused yet in good condition shoes, clothes, toys, stationary e later giving away their allowances to help the slums children in Dhaka-Bangladesh. The name ''Lucky Stars'' has been naturally adopted in many minds because these three children wished to fundraise for those who have nothing but a hut made of junk to live in and a childhood marked by child labour, starving and with no education, making stars of paper, giving them the name of Lucky Stars, and selling them door to door at the price of 1 Dirham each, so raising about dhs6,000 to help kids in Dhaka. Recently they did a PowerPoint presentation in their school Jebel Ali School to help The Dhaka Project; they consulted The Dhaka Project Webpage and did it all, having managed to attract the attention of an entire school from the teachers to their colleagues students, where all got involved in a fundraising event, resulting in a precious amount, enough to feed hundreds of children for a month: dhs 22,000!
Moreover they helped in garage sales, packing toiletries and other items, tidying clothes in respective places.
It's highly motivating to see so small children showing the good example of helping a charity. Thanks to their initiative many other children have got involved as young volunteers. And they are always thinking about a way of getting more ways to raise funds...
