The court was told that the victim was walking in Naif in October when the suspect pushed her from behind and she fell to the ground in front of a number of people. She said: “I stood up and he grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth, so I bit him. He slapped me several times. I screamed for people to help me.”
A number of people went to assist her, restrained her attacker and called police. The case has been adjourned until next month for the defence to prepare its case.
