Abu Dhabi: Police have discovered a suitcase containing hashish.
Colonel Maktoum Al Sheriefi, the director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Abu Dhabi Police, said they arrested a suspect in Al Shahama.
Lt Colonel Sultan Sawayeh Al Darmeki, the head of the Anti Narcotics Section of CID, added that they received a tip off that the 32-year-old had the hashish and came to Abu Dhabi to sell the drugs.
The squad arrested the suspect, who works as a taxi controller, and found the drugs in his suitcase in the back seat of his car. They found 11 pieces of hashish marked with the phrase ‘Beauty of 2008’.
