Multi-cultural merriment

A comedian who has starred alongside Sean Penn and the rapper Ice Cube will be heading to Dubai on Thursday December 10.

Maz Jobrani, (left), an Iranian-American funny man, is headlining the ‘Maz Jobrani Brown and Friendly’ show at at DUCTAC theatre at Mall of the Emirates.

As well as appearing in ‘The Interpreter’ with Sean Penn and ‘Friday After Next’ with hip hop star Ice Cube, he’s also performed on the ‘Jay Leno Show’.

He’ll be joined on stage by Persian - Scottish comedian K-Von (bottom right) whose comedy reflects the clashes in culture that the younger generation can identify with. His material also touches on everything from being raised in a Las Vegas based multi-cultural family to his hilarious advice about internet dating.

Last but not least, there will be Eman Morgan (below left) who was born and raised in LA but has Egyptian heritage. His career began in small comedy clubs in the US performing in both Arabic and English.
