A male prostitute has been jailed for a year after being caught toutting for business on the internet.
The man, an 18-year-old Emirati, was found guilty of homosexuality and prostitution at Dubai Court of First Instance yesterday.
He was caught when a Dubai policeman posed as a potential customer and arranged to meet with the teenager.
When the defendant arrived for the meeting he was arrested and his computer was seized by the police.
