A 27-year-old Sri Lankan man has been jailed for three months after being found guilty of trying to sexually assault a woman as she delivered flyers at his apartment block.
The 34-year-old Iranian hairdresser was going door-to-door at the flats in Discovery Gardens in May when the man appeared in the hallway and started ripping at her clothes. She managed to escape and called the police, Dubai Court of First Instance heard earlier. The defendant will be deported after serving his sentence.
