A giant tapestry made up of images snapped in space has been put together to mark one year since the launch of the UAE’s first satellite.
DubaiSat-1 blasted off from Kazakhstan last summer and has been collecting data and images above the earth as part of research into weather patterns, population patters and urban development.
The Emirates Institution for Advanced Science and Technology has released a mosaic of 40 images captured by the satellite.
